This is the 2nd book I've read in this series and just like the first one this book just blew me away.I love Katie Lou she's not just strong she's also a very kind and determine young lady and I am hoping with everything in me that her and doctor Rob get together.Keep Up The Great Writing Nancy,you have a Fan For Life with me.I got this book for free on amazon and I'm glad I did but I would buy anything she writes.Hurry with more.

Okay story but needed more research

I gave this a 3 star but I wold really like to do 2 1/2 stars. First of all, the story moved too smoothly; nothing falls into place that easily. It nevery felt lIke there was a huge strigger or clash. It needed something. Secondly, I found the author's personal opinions regarding politics annoying. I like to read books like this to escape things like politics. And finally, the author needed to do some research regarding ways Katie Lou's seat belt could have failed. A new car is not going to have a seat belt buckle worn so quickly. Also, she stated a few times that Katie Lou only had her associates degree. In missouri, to become a licensed counselor she would need to have her masters degree, many hours of internship, and a beginning license would require supervision for 2 years before she could apply for another license to practice on her own. She never would have been able to just go to the state capital and take a test like that with no education behind her. Two minutes of research would have gone a long way.

A story of redemption

This book is the second in this series about a girl named Katie who on the brink of getting married is in a serious automobile accident that leaves her paralyzed. Her fiance was driving the car and is found to be at fault but is unwilling to admit the truth. If that's not enough, he breaks off their engagement because she no longer fits into his plans for a political career. Katie's determination to get her life back is fostered by her good looking physical therapist who himself turned a similar event in his life into his career of helping others. Katie not only recovers miraculously, but has a idea to use her psychology degree to start a counselling clinic to provide a service to others needing help working through their own healing. As Katie is healing,
her faith in God is strengthened and a purpose in her life is found and possibly the love of her life. We will find out in the next book in this series.
