For your very best friends

I saw this book and thought it would be such a great birthday present for my best friend - I know she will appreciate the thought and sentiment that I’m planning to put into it. I ordered it early so there would be plenty of time to come up with thoughtful answers for the questions (I’ve got till January!) This book is really cute - even though I paid attention to the dimensions I was still surprised at how small it was. It’s just hard to imagine such a little book. It is about the size of the palm of my hand.
There are some fun prompts in this book although they do seem a little repetitive, so you’ll have to be thoughtful to fill out this book without giving the same answers for multiple prompts. The prompts are pretty open ended too, so you can be creative with your responses. For example: “you ___ the best ___ ever” or “I am so ___ that ___” could be filled in with so many different answers. I also like that the pages have a lot of blank space so I can write long answers or additional memories on the page if I want to. I’m going to enjoy filling out this book, and I’m sure my friend will love it. If you’ve got a sentimental best friend of your own, I’d recommend giving this book a try.

For anyone who loves thoughtful.

Some of the questions seem repetitive and it can be tough to come up with clever answers. I'm in my 30's and my best friend in her 40's and she LOVED it and sent me these photos as she went through it with jokes about what I'd written. For someone who enjoys thoughtful gifts that take a little time I recommend it, especially if you can play with your answers a bit. It would be nice if it had other things more related to memories you share, but it was still fine. I also cut out a few little pictures and taped them inside for fun.

Brought a kid lots of smiles and a mom some happy tears.

I bought this gift for a nine year old boy that I work with. I regularly tell him how awesome he is, because he is the absolutely coolest kid I've ever met. I felt that for his birthday, I would let him in on why I think he's so awesome, and this book perfectly fit the bill. I spent a lot of time carefully thinking of clever or nostalgic lines to write in the book; I even typed up all 50 reasons and my responses on my computer so I could think each one one over. When I surprised him with the book on his birthday, he had a smile ear to ear while reading every entry; it even made his mom cry (happy tears of course). The real genius of the book is that it forces you to think back on your relationship with your recipient, and hopefully brings a smile to your face as you think of and remember how great that person really is.
